EXPERT COLLISION REPAIR FOR GREATER CINCINNATI SINCE 1980
-
Do I have to go to the Insurance Company’s preferred shop to have my car repaired? No, you can use the repair shop of your choice. Wood’s Collision Center is a preferred shop for many insurance companies. However, some insurance companies have partnered with the big national body shop chains to get volume discounts on labor and parts and will try hard to steer you there. In these situations, we would rather pass a discount on directly to our customers by offering things like deductible assistance and complimentary pickup and delivery or towing if it’s not covered by your insurance company, as well as other special promotions. And our repairs are backed by a Lifetime Guarantee. The choice is yours.
-
Do I need an estimate from Wood’s Collision if I have already gotten an insurance estimate? No, we have relationships with all the major insurance companies. We will work right from the insurance written estimate and work with the insurance adjuster to ensure your vehicle is repaired to pre-accident condition. We also back our repairs with a Lifetime Guarantee.
-
Do I have to get three estimates? No, you do not need to go through the inconvenience of getting three estimates. The Insurance Company will write an estimate or authorize the body shop of your choice to write it for them. If your Insurance Company writes the estimate, you’ll get the best results if your vehicle is at our facilities so we can discuss the damage directly with them to make sure they don’t miss anything. If you do get more than one estimate please know that differences in repair estimates are common. A lower estimate may not include all the necessary work. If you have questions about why another estimate is different from ours, please ask us.
-
Do I need to schedule an appointment for an estimate? No, an appointment is not necessary. You can stop in anytime at your convenience for an estimate. Our office hours are 8:00 am – 5:30 pm Monday – Friday. If you prefer to make an appointment or need after hours service, feel free to call the location nearest to you or use our online appointment form. We also offer online estimates so you don't even need to make a special trip to the body shop.
-
How long will the repairs to my vehicle take?Once we get a look at the damage and write a preliminary estimate, we can give you an approximate time frame for the repair work to be completed. We will give you more specific timing once your vehicle arrives at our shop for repairs. At this time, our I-Car and ASE certified technicians will inspect the damage to your vehicle, remove the damaged parts and check for any hidden or structural damage that needs to be repaired. Then your estimate will be updated, additional parts, if any, will be ordered and we will create a repair plan and timeline specifically for your vehicle.
-
When do I pay my deductible? You pay your deductible to the shop after repairs are completed. We will first review the repair work with you when you pick up your vehicle to make sure everything is according to your expectations and satisfaction. We also offer several deductible assistance options. If you are interested in finding out more, please ask at the time of your estimate.

Every customer gets a lifetime warranty and we stand behind the work we do, for as long as you own your vehicle. Please contact us directly at any time during or after your repair work if you have any questions or concerns. Our goal is to make sure you are 100% satisfied.
