Do I have to go to the Insurance Company’s preferred shop to have my car repaired?
Do I need an estimate from Wood’s Collision if I have already gotten an insurance estimate?
Do I have to get three estimates?
No, you do not need to go through the inconvenience of getting three estimates. The Insurance Company will write an estimate or authorize the body shop of your choice to write it for them. If your Insurance Company writes the estimate, you’ll get the best results if your vehicle is at our facilities so we can discuss the damage directly with them to make sure they don’t miss anything. If you do get more than one estimate please know that differences in repair estimates are common. A lower estimate may not include all the necessary work. If you have questions about why another estimate is different from ours, please ask us.
Do I need to schedule an appointment for an estimate?
No, an appointment is not necessary. You can stop in anytime at your convenience for an estimate. Our office hours are 8:00 am – 5:30 pm Monday – Friday. If you prefer to make an appointment or need after hours service, feel free to call the location nearest to you or use our online appointment form. We also offer online estimates so you don't even need to make a special trip to the body shop.
